“Set The Fire” is new from dream pop-peddling London outfit Swimming Tapes. Following up the also great “Souvenir”, “Set The Fire” captures the elan and excellent sense of atmosphere that, in part, made bands (which are likely influences) like The Church and The Simple Minds great. Will Epstein aka High Water will release his debut LP Crush on June 24th via Other People. “Changed The Locks”, the LP’s latest stream, treads about a neat blend of dub-y chords and a spontaneous-sounding set of very visceral melodies. We are into it.
