lifted from the soulculture uk “aaliyah revisted” tribute EP, this killer cover of “rock the boat” by east london, uk soul singer and basement jaxx collaborator vula wow’d the shit out of us. the entire EP is loaded with bangers… we’re too diggin on afta-1’s space soul interpretation of “4 page letter” and tawiah’s transatlantic “nOUGHty nOUGHty”s on her go at “are you that somebody?”. we love aaliyah, RIP, baby girl.
