Tayyib’s flow is sick. The young Philly MC links up here w singer Dave Patten for a sharp little track. I think Tayyib Ali is a name we will be hearing a lot of in the coming months. Tracks like “Live On the Road” demand a wider audience.

Fresh off their much talked about hometown set at Lollapalooza, the Kids These Days crew drops a brand new track. “Clear Eyes” produced by Blended Babies finds the Chi 8-piece on a mellower more jazz-inflected tip. We love it.

For every one submission we get, we probably get at least a hundred clunkers. We get a fair number of “pretty good” tracks. “Hurt Love” by No Ceremony (absolutely no clue about who these guys are, where they’re from, if they have any shows upcoming, label, hair color, favorite food, etc. nothing) is a GREAT track. Those epic on-the-one piano chords, the sync’d up melodies, it has all those characteristics of what a big track should sound like or has sounded like but it sounds like something new, something totally fresh. Couldn’t be more into it.

Yes please. “Kiss Purple” from Russian producer Pavel Dovgal will be included on German label Project Mooncircle’s upcoming Finest Ego, Vol. 1 12 inch series. You’ve heard this sound before, the track sounds of future garage hitmakers like James Blake, Jamie XX, FaltyDL, etc. That sound though has never been flipped melodically quite how it is on “Kiss Purple”. “Purple” is a definite facemelter in its own right and is in heavy rotation at b3sci HQ. Spin it.

Warpaint are re-releasing their debut LP The Fool in September. Blogoverse hit track “Billie Holiday” has been re-recorded for that, with former-RHCP guitar picker John Frusciante taking on production duties. The fuller, broader sounding “Billie Holiday” is yours to sample below.

So K-Rowl’s “Motivation” has been around for a minute. But for whatever reason (right place wrong time, wayne feature fear, w/e) I hadn’t really given the track much of a look. I heard it again somewhere this weekend and suffice to say I’ve had it on repeat ever since. Something about the track right now (08/09/11) HIT ME. Anyway, part 2… I really love the sort of dreamy vibed out dubstep remixes of popular songs like this one or this one. There’s something transportative about them, something that draws you in; and I thought “Motivation” would sound great styled in that way. So I took the Google and a few minutes later out popped this Eman remix of the track. Hope you enjoy.
