“Karen” is previewed from Chew Lips’ debut LP, Unicorn, due at the end of January. their song “Play Together” has grown to be one of our favorite dance-pop tracks of the year, and “Karen” has a similar effect, yet is different with its subtle exploration of catchy guitar work. more than anything though, this tune grows on you.

“O Maybe I” is from Chapel Club, the UK’s latest hype. Zane Lowe and NME have been all over these guys, and 2010 could see big things for them. “O Maybe I” is the band’s second single and will drop official in February. one thing for certain, Chapel Club have got a killer sound, capped by an ability to make dissonant, yet totally listenable/enjoyable, melodies. hopefully a full length debut is in the works… we’ll keep you posted.
Groove Armada team up with Fenech-Soler to offer “Paper Romance.” the cut is taken from their anticipated 9th studio full length, Black Light, expected February 23 via Bacardi distribution.
