The first single has hit the internet from indie-rockers Fly Points from Regina, Canada. This tune has some great melodies and it takes you on quite the journey in a quick four minutes. The vocals also really stand out for me, they come from Danny Goertz who has put a successful singer-songwriter project on hold to focus on Fly Points. So far, they have played nothing but sold out shows in their home town and they have built quite a bit of hype around themselves. They have been recording their first album for the last few months, and we are excited to see what else they have for us. – By Jon Herriot

French comes through with that big summer posse cut that hip hop radio has being missing. Leave it to essentially the same cast, Rozay, Drake & Wayne to deliver two summers running. Props to Tunechi on the Klitschko reference.

Ursh has us feeling all adult contemporary conscious on new ballad heater “What Happened To You”. Syrupy, smooth, and melodic in all the best ways, “You”‘s got us ready to throw on that knit cap, and those “thoughtful shades”, and make love to y’all’s minds. Conscious. Looking 4 Myself is out today.

In Our Heads is the new Hot Chip album and it drops next week. “Motion Sickness” leads off the record and it will definitely get you in motion. It’s got those lush Hot Chip synth parts and a fine groove. After early listens, I’m not sure this album is their best effort as many of the tracks have more of a mainstream dance feel, but the album definitely has it’s highlights and this is one of them.
