Breakbot – Another Dawn (Feat. Irfane)

The Breakbot man lets loose the latest teaser for his upcoming (due Sept. 17) Ed Banger release By Your Side. The relaxed “Another Dawn” is a well-executed marriage of more cooled Daft Punk tracks and more piano-driven Francophone pop. We promise you’ll like it.

The New Union – Without You

You’ll either forgive or love the Blink 182 style intros and Rzeznik bridges in “Without You” by Brighton’s The New Union. Still undeniable is the jangle that draws you in like any great guitar song you’ve heard on alternative radio on both sides of the Atlantic for the last 20 years. Grab it on Two Sisters Records 10/8.

The XX – Our Song

Midnight has struck stateside and we’ve had the beautiful and introspective duet “Our Song” on constant repeat. The track closes out The XX’ new and highly anticipated sophomore Coexist release. The album itself continues to explore the bottomless abyss of The XX’ inclination towards minimalist and emotive composition. The melancholy lullaby of “Our Song” especially strikes a chord, telling a humbling story of relationship ups/downs by way of pulsing atmospheres and chilling legato. Sample the track below and pick up Coexist today.

RAVE’S FAVE! Diamond Rings – I’m Just Me

Diamond Rings has been around a few years, and has also graced these B3Science pages. This just might be tune to take him to the next level. The retro-leaning “I’m Just Me” is an ideal combination of melody, dance, and a a serious chorus. I’ve been spinning it on my show and getting strong reaction, so I think theres a good chance you’ll feel the same way.

Miguel – Do You

We love Miguel. It’s definitely one of the better stories in music this year, that the L.A.-based R&B singer is starting to get notice that someone of his talent deserves. Mr. Jontel just dropped a preview of his preview; streams of the three tracks from his Kaleidoscope Dream Air Preview which is due Tuesday. This second preview EP (following his Water release back in July), offers up teasers for Miguel’s Kaleidoscope Dream LP which debuts October 2nd. Our pick from the EP is the – Sunday on the boat good-timer “Do You” which further highlights Miguel’s impressive growth as a writer/arranger and singer.
