The Internet – Girl (Feat. Kaytranada)

internet

Tune into the straightforward-vibe female-wile lyrics, stunningly sensual golden-touch Syd Tha Kid vocals and captivating experimental-flow R&B-blessed sweet-rapture ending of “Girl” the fastidiously-crafted Kaytranada-produced second single off Ego Death which is the third album from LA-based collaborative The Internet. Ego Death releases on June 30th via Colombia Records and it apparently features some big name vocal talents such as songstress Janelle Monáe, rapper Vic Mensa and singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy. Stay tuned. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Janet Jackson – Would You Mind (E.DOZA Remix)

janetallforyou

Toronto-based beatmaker-producer and Bevstmode artist-collective member E.DOZA elevates Ms. Jackson’s bold and beautiful track to new subtly sexy heights on his fresh and dazzling (if you’re nasty) new remix of “Would You Mind” which revels in the distinctly sensual artistic bent and lyrics of Janet’s and adds a perfectly layered percussive sound and robust synth accents that we totally dig. We just covered E.DOZA’s luminous and timeless blend of soul-touched R&B and hip-hop on his bright and lively “house-hop” bootleg mix of Internet track “Special Affair”. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Fractures – Reactor

fractures

We love the slightly-intense mismatched interludes of beats and guitar as well as the beautifully spun wandering-debate I-am-human emotional lyricism and heart-felt falsetto vocals of Melbourne multi-instrumentalist musician-singer and producer Fractures on his fresh new track “Reactor” which is the first song the solo artist has released since his atmospheric self-titled EP that includes B3 highlighted winner track “Cadence”. We look forward to hearring more tracks off Fractures’ debut early-2016-release full album. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Andrea – Down (Feat. Vanessa Elisha)

andrea

We’re into the infinite charms and heady-atmosphere of “Down” a beauty from French producer Andrea who creates a gorgeous soulful vibe on the track with his outstanding harmonious male-female vocal duet; which features sultry-vocaled Australian songstress Vanessa Elisha who we recently discussed on B3 for her sensational talents on B.Lewis collaboration “Down For This”. Great track. “Down” is presumably the first to release off Andrea’s “Black Magic” EP which is out on July 10th via Jakarta Records. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Yheti & Esseks – Voices In The Dark

yheti

Lose yourself in the broad depths and atmospheric experimental folds of new track “Voices in the Dark” which was created on a cold NY day by collaborative duo Yheti and Esseks; who go for a brilliant subtly-robust percussion-peppered eccentric-instrumental vibe on the track that contains a beautifully dramatic and spacey escalating synth line. “Voices in the Dark” actually reminds us of the muted and watery deeply-embedded mind-expansive sounds that come out to play on a cold wintery day. We’re into it. Reviewed by Erin Shay

Get into the awesome percussion and scratchy hip-hop dynamic of LA-based rapper duo Tiron and Ayomari on their immeasurably catchy hand-percussion-graced track called “2 Kinds” which revels in a long-winded divinely energetic hip-hop rant style that reminds us a little of Kid Cudi. The new song is featured on the duo’s Great New Wonderful LP, out now. If you’re into drumming, scratch and percussion this one is mandatory. We love it. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Billie Black – Hung Up

billieblack2

We’re hung up on the smashing vocals of promising young West London vocalist extraordinaire Billie Black yet again on her new mellow melody-laced piano-driven track “Hung Up”; which follows Billie’s engrossing rock steady, deeply-sultry beat enhanced track “Music Box” that we featured on the blog last week. New track “Hung Up” shines equally as bright in all its glorious simplicity and beautifully compliments the other tracks off Billie’s wonderful new “Teach Me” EP, that is out now. Enjoy!
