The esteemable Mount Kimbie streamed unheard track “Bells_5” on their NTS Radio show last night and have got us on a bit of a vibe with it. The synth strings-washed track is a 3:14 run through varying shifts of layered rhythm and well-conceived grooves that didn’t quite make the duo’s last LP. Listen below.

POSTAAL a Franco-British producer splitting time between Paris and London infuses the sonic oeuvre of both locales into new mix for Fickle Friends. Selecting for darkly current UK space-bass and merging that with a brush of warm French-inspired synth sonics, POSTAAL’s mix adeptly crosses several musical idioms as well as international borders. It’s cool spin on the FF sound that we dig, check out the B3 Premiere of POSTAAL’s remix of Fickle Friends’ “Shake Her” below.

Towkio is an up and coming hip-hop artist out of Chicago whose latest mixtape .WAV Theory attracted some big names of which Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper are only a couple. My favorite track is “Heaven Only Knows” because its smooth and catchy John Legend-inspired hook very well compliments the Lido-produced beat and of course for Chance’s killer final verse.
