Monica x Teebs – Just For You, Sideline Ho (Cyril Hahn Edit)

Cyril Hahn’s “Say My Name” remix blew us away (His “Touch My Body” edit is mint too). We can’t get enough of Cyril’s sound right now, so we did a little digging and found this ace Monica x Teebs remix from a couple months ago. Enjoy. Cyril Hahn ftw.

MMC Da Click – Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone)

Some fresh RnB sounds from Mimi trio MMC Da Click. You know Kevin would have totally kicked it to this record and some real hunnies in Home Alone if he were a cool 16 instead of throwing that lame faux party with cardboard cut-outs and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”.

Ed Sheeran – Pony (Ginuwine)

Young Sheeran “sheeranfies” the 90’s R&B standard, taking the track to some really excellent places melodically. Check it out.

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib – Shame ft. The Chicago Kid

Gibbs and Madlib take turns choppin it up about ‘the walk of shame’ over the buttery backdrop of some classy motown. JB approved (hit me!). What’s not to like?

Jeremih – Ahh Shit (Feat. Fabolous)

We can get on Jeremih’s team and all but like WHERE IS THIS BEAT FROM? I KNOW I’VE HEARD IT BEFORE. Seriously, though, where? “Ahh Shit” cuts hard with that sleek heavier-than-air sort of atmosphere. Fab’s definitely on some kind of resurgence too. He’s been featuring seemingly everywhere the last couple months. We like it.

Usher – Pumped Up Kicks

Ahhhhh, somebody get Ursh a b3sci Spotify playlist or something. As tired as you are, your Mom is, and probably your Grandma too is of “Pumped Up Kicks”, this cover of the ubiquitous Foster the People single just cut by Usher inside Radio 1’s live lounge is kinda awesome. That, and URIV cuts it sharp on the bass in the vid! Looking 4 Myself is in stores now.

Usher – What Happened To You (Prod. Noah “40” Shebib)

Ursh has us feeling all adult contemporary conscious on new ballad heater “What Happened To You”. Syrupy, smooth, and melodic in all the best ways, “You”‘s got us ready to throw on that knit cap, and those “thoughtful shades”, and make love to y’all’s minds. Conscious. Looking 4 Myself is out today.
