Premiere: Mansions On The Moon – Radio (Exale Remix)

mansionsonthemoon

Russian in Boston Exale makes a strong B3 debut with a funkified nu-disco remix for Pharrell Williams collaborators Mansions On The Moon’s single for “Radio”. A component part of a new free download (w/ the original “Radio” track) for fans to mark a year on since the release of MOTM’s debut album, Exale’s mix marries French-inspired warm house tones with a decidedly more rhythmically angular bent. Spin the B3SCI Premiere of Exale’s excellent new remix for Mansions On The Moon’s “Radio” below.

We like the latest bright-perspective synth-framed dance-oriented remix of Deutsch Duke sultry-crooner soul track “Harder Without You” from talented B3-featured Sydney-based future-funk producer MXXWLL (also known as Maxwell Bidstrup); an artist who we covered in August for his slick and beautifully-centered sweet-nurturing funk-driven vox-enhanced calm-vibe spin on Jodie Abacus track “Good Feeling”. Oskar Offermann – Find Yourself

oskaroffermann

Berlin-based contemporary deep house producer Oskar Offerman excels with a brilliant new slow-burner track called “Find Yourself”, an expansive-natured rhythm-based original which we like for its artfully-deliberate slow-unfolding 90’s-infused Massive Attack-“Paradise Circus” vibes, heated whispery-obscure vocal elements, and nicely-varied mosh of heavy bass-driven metallic percussion. Check out the new track on Oskar Offermann’s latest Mule Musiq-rep’d EP “Le Grand To Do” (full stream available on November 13th). Awesome. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Premiere: Ofelia K – Gone (Duncan Murray Remix)

ofeliakduncanmurray

House dynamo / music manager (Tom Misch & Blonde) Duncan Murray teams up with buzzing pop singer Ofelia K for an after hours mix of her “Gone” single. Here Ofelia K’s “Gone” vocal has been positioned by Duncan Murray ethereally atop the mix and meshed with driving arpeggiations and washes of late night house atmosphere. It’s a sleek and sultry take on the track that we totally adore. Spin the B3SCI Premiere of Duncan Murray’s remix of “Gone” by Ofelia K below.

Amtrac – Lover

amtrac2

“Lover”, the 90’s-vibed latest original track from Amtrac, will be featured on Kitsune’s dynamite Hot Stream compilation. “Lover” earns its bread on a never quit house-flavored rhythm track that is impossible not to move to; mix in a neat smattering of syncopated synth lines and looped vocals and “Lover” has all the pieces and execution for an A+ track. Into it.

Flamingosis – Riding The L

flamingosis3

“Riding the L” is the latest wildly-cinematic lounge-y fantastical jazzy-horn-entwined funk-centric Chicago-street-vibe-imbued tune from B3 new-fave artist Flamingosis (a.k.a. Aaron Valasquez); a tremendously talented New Jersey artist who we recently showcased for his excellent tropical-beats infused Brazillian-funk doozy called “Momento”. Ballerino – Wet (Zulu Edit)

ballerino

We wholeheartedly recommend London artist/producer ZULU (Girls Music/Zoo Music/Enchufada) for his deeply phenomenal twist on recent track “Wet” by London-based Berliner and Squareglass label owner Robin Paul Braum, a.k.a. Ballerino. ZULU (a new artist to the pages of B3) has kept himself largely on the down-low since the release of his Clash magazine-premiered remix of Junk Son track “Eyes Shut” (very good). We’re fully vibing ZULU’s metallic-drum-studded take on “Wet” which has an incredibly-fetching awesome meld of sublimely-sensuous dance-centered synth-dominated deep-house accents. We think the remix is quite a stunning jumpstart to Ballerino’s more poppy-synthy catchy-accessible mellow-dance-driven 80’s-vibes (which we also really dig). The B3 crew is absolutely tuned in and loving your sound ZULU. Great mix! Reviewed by Erin Shay.
