Belfast producer Sina’s new “From Love to Dust” is a unique (and awesome) marriage of nu-garage, and melodic dubstep. Track goes DEEP.

Another day, another stunning remix of a Lana Del Rey cover by Birdy. This time it’s Northern Ireland mixer Owsey and Bon Iver’s modern classic “Skinny Love”. My my my.

Canadian producer Ianborg just dropped off this grown as hell remix of New Look’s “Numbers”. On the track, sultry synths give way to an understated chug-wobble all framing Sarah Ruba’s deep-in-the-mix vocal . This remix is absolute FIRE. LISTEN.

Finally the Justice Audio Video Disco album drops next Tuesday. Initial track “Civilization” is one of the most-requested songs on my radio show this year. The guys cite a strong Led Zeppelin influence on this album and “Parade” is all over that intensity. The intro bass line is definitely Zeppelin. “Parade” is packed full of 70’s progressive with almost too many memorable melody lines to count. It’s like “We Will Rock You” for the next generation. The more played out “Video Games” gets the better the remixes seem to get. This new Joy Orbison mix, which just saw its premiere on Zane Lowe, may be the best “Video Games” mix yet.

This Fred V & Grafix mix of Emeli Sandé’s (big fans) latest single has been blowing up UK radio the last couple weeks. The mix is a little more DnB than anything else but there’s a lot “anything else” going on the track. Fred V & Grafix are on top form right now and their remix for “Daddy” is one of the best DnB remixes of the year.
