Yeaahhhhhhhhh. Offered up is “The Loudest Engine” the latest from Oz band Howling Bells. “The Loudest Engine” is a song that most definitely lives up to its track name. This baby is a loud grinder, you can almost feel the gears of some large machination wheel and turn in each jabby guitar lead. You will want to turn this one up.

Mosca is back with a track that is nothing short of phenomenal. If you like UK Electronic music, you will love “Done Me Wrong”. It’s funny the more these genres (garage, funky, dubstep, etc.) blend together and evolve the more and more we hear 90’s house music. Like we’re all headed breeches first into some sort of dance music singularity and while the gravity ’round a singularity is so intense not even light can escape, the sounds of “Gypsy Woman” able to do so. via LFTF

Oh damn. Awww nawwww, that shit kray. Vancouver BC producer Louie XV puts a sound to the nascent “That shit kray” meme. The Kreayshawn part off the start’s a little “just alright” but when Jay and Ye drop into the track, you’re looking at full force banger territory. Awww naw. Tip Soul Culture UK

Just 19 years old, Aussie beatmaker Flume, at this early stage in his career, has unlimited potential, no doubt. But listen to what dude is already putting on. His remix of the Onra track “The Anthem” flew up the hypem charts this week and we feel like “Sleepless” will likely perform no differently. The track is stacked from wall to wall with soul and good feeling, the sort of music that moves you, pushes you forward. Get a sample below.

Yeah, can’t say we expect this either but……….how cool, right? Word is, Dan the Automator (who produced Kasabian’s latest LP) played the record for LL Cool J, LL dug it, and the rest is…well, on this record. For this mix you get a verse from “Motivated LL”, as opposed to “Sexy LL” (We do love “Hey Lover”), and “Motivated LL” tears through a fresh 16 that will, no doubt, bring back memories of a hungrier, younger Cool James. Get into it, kids. Tip to one of our fav blogs Details of My Life.

Jayceon connects with Drizzy over a Cool & Dre beat for our newly anointed second fav R.E.D. Album leak. (“She Wanna Have My Baby” will always have our heart.) Game sounds awwwwwright but if this were purely a Drake song it’d likely be a Hot 100 Top 10. Drake’s that on his game right now.

Sissy & The Blisters have a considerable bit of buzz/hype around them in the UK (and some pretty influential fans… Steve Lamacq, Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, just to name a few). “Let Her Go” is the sort of hooky neo-post-punk that NME and Q go bananas over. The Vaccines and even The Horrors could be considered analogs here. Namely, the pop sensibility of The Vaccines and the weight of The Horrors. “Let Her Go” is some spirited shit that’ll likely have you fist-pumping your way about the room within the first couple listens.

The Veronica crew have their self-titled debut LP at the ready, (The LP was recorded live in three days! After initial sessions were scrapped.) the wide open, jangly “Come On Over” dropped a few weeks ago, and now it’s a second preview from the LP, a tune called “Bad Feeling”. “Bad” ventures into reverb-heavy cowboy/surfer territory (cowboysurferwave) in the verses with a poppy major keyed chorus adding variety into the track. Put it on repeat.

Aussie kids DAMNDOGS are invading California this week with gigs from Diego to The Bay. Previewed here is “Cocaine” from the band’s excellent “Strange Behaviour” EP. The EP is sort of in the vein of Kasabian or even The Rapture if those bands listened to a ton of dub reggae and/or Donna Summer. Give “Cocaine” a spin below.

Holy shit. Yeah, we can’t say we saw this coming. Drumma Boy(!) grabs Shabazz Palaces (who knew they were bros?) for what can only be described as one of our favorite remixes of the year thusfar. Press play and just throw that shit on repeat.
