“Reset in Colour”, new from UK band LOYAL, springs out from that elusive intersection of accessibility, a great tune, interesting non-contrived production and some sense of meaning/weight to it. There’s no limit for LOYAL.

Moon Boots’ latest spotless entry for Anjunadeep comes to us in the form of the warm feel-good house pop of “Keep the Faith” featuring a very nice vocal from Nic Hanson
Sample “Happy Haunting” from Portland band Rare Monk’s upcoming debut LP A Future. The track sees RM take on a more spacious sound galvanized by more guitar-focused hook writing. A Future is out on July 7th.
“Sad Boy” is the debut track online for songwriter Gabriel Black. The spare “Sad Boy” spins about a lone electric guitar grind with lo-fi drums and occasional additional vocal tracks to beef up the song’s more dynamic moments. It’s a great first track. Listen to “Sad Boy” below.
We’re into “Sweetness” the first track from L.A. artist Jaja Bu. A cool blend of late hours R&B production swerves and a slick bit of neatly phrased melodic lines, “Sweetness” is a strong debut.
The great Cathedrals are back with new music in the form of expansive, hooky, midtempo track “With You”. “With You” follows on from “Try to Fight” released earlier this year, and the two tracks are Cathedrals’ first new music since the release of their s/t EP in 2015. We dig “With You” and you can dig it too below.
UK singer SASHA authors one of the best forward-thinking pop tracks of the year thusfar with the stylistically varied “Picking Flowers”. Intimate and magnetic like a great acoustic guitar-driven song but shined up and arranged in a way where wide radio accessibility is possible, “Picking Flowers” accomplishes this intimacy and accessibility without being tired or obvious about either. Great song.
“Glad You Stayed” is the debut track from London-based artist Lunar. Stream the B3 Premiere of “Glad You Stayed” from Lunar below.
