Galimatias is one of our favorite artists in any genre right now. The Danish producer continues to push forward his far-flung and cinematic sounds into new palettes and spaces with each successive release. New one “Night Owl” is much like the name on its tin would indicate quite nocturnal sounding as the track balances deep house-inspired electronics with hushed jazz and hip hop-referencing rhythms.

Grace Mitchell stands out among the boundless ocean of new alternative-leaning pop songstresses on the strength of her track’s writing and quality. “Broken Over You” is constructed and crafted for not only the most inclusive consumption but gets there in innovative unexpected ways.
