Premiere: Summer Heart – Nothing Can Stop Us Now

summerheart

Nobody does sunny infectious indie pop like a Swede. Summer Heart the project of musician and Swedish person David Alexander is back today with a new single and a new North American tour. “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” is the fresh song in question and it is very sunny and very infectious; the track is a hopeful jaunt through neat jangly guitars and a set of sing-a-long melodies that immediately pull you into them. Sample the B3 Premiere of “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” and look for the release at retail on October 16.

Autograf – Dream (Pat Lok Remix)

patlok

B3 new fave Pat Lok has endeared a place on our favorite artists of 2015 list (thus far) for his distinctly-flaunty vibrant-synth-driven dancey-tropical blend of charismatic house music. We are drawn to Lok’s overtly pause heavy outstanding-artistry chop-y editing vibe that has come to define his signature style (which reverberates beautifully throughout his very catchy well-pointed recent body of work). Give a listen to Lok’s latest chipper intro-ed up-vibed percussion-laced reverb-y dance-friendly rework (of Autograf’s melodic-wood-tone-centric track “Dream”) that we think (refreshingly) treads a tad on the noir side in comparison to Lok’s previous works due to his choice in vocal sample and use of cold punchy metallic euro-house sensibilities that kick in late in the track. Brace yourself for more good stuff from Pat Lok, a true-to-life talent who we hear is a hoot at his live DJ stints. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Astronauts, Etc. – Shake It Loose

astronauts

In June B3 covered Oakland five-member indie pop band Astronauts, etc. (which is led by frontman vocalist Anthony Ferraro) for their low-key wordy gem track “Eye To Eye”. We’re pleased to run across the band’s slightly-more-soulful emotive-approached new one called “Shake It Loose” a receptive vocal-led jam that draws at our attentions with its touching heart-strings-attached lyrical feels and moody-sultry melodic vocals. Another timeless piece of phenomenally straightforward profound material “Shake it Loose” is the fourth track to release off Astronauts, etc.’s upcoming debut full-length album Mind Out Wandering which is out on September 18th.
