Tom Misch – Clapclapclap

tommisch

We last covered B3 favorite, London multi-instrumentalist producer/vocalist Tom Misch for his Jordan Rakei-vocaled neo-soul-bented song “Wake Up This Day”. Give a listen to his newly released funky rhythm-centric instrumental gem called “Clap Clap Clap” for a vivacious-synth-layered hand-percussion-infused sonic pick-me-up that excels in that nicely-understated instrumentally-stunning Tom Misch style which we dig so much. LA male-female duo Kisses, who we last featured for “Nile” the catchy boogie-rhythm-driven “Rest in Paradise” EP 3rd single, is one of our very favorite breaking acts this year. Not surprisingly, we’re totally into their new fourth EP track called “Jam” a soulfully stylish boogie-inspired funk-guitar-grooved track which we love especially for its vibrantly-bright melodic piano chords and superb vocals. Awesome track! Reviewed by Erin Shay.
