Lewis Del Mar – Wave(s)

lewisdelmar2

“Wave(s)” is another bit of A+ indie pop from NY-based Lewis Del Mar. Following up the blog hits “Loud(Y)” and “Memories”, “Wave(s)” sails on a pinpoint perfect construction of syncopated melody. Absolutely on repeat.

GoldLink – Spectrum

goldlink

GoldLink previews the Missy-sampling “Spectrum”, a stream from his forthcoming And After That, We Didn’t Talk LP. Stylistically marrying up modern indie dance/house music in the instrumental with GoldLink’s trend-friendly flow, “Spectrum” tags the requisite boxes of current-ness on its way to being a knockout of a track.

Slum Sociable – Paradigm

slumsociable2

B3 recently discussed the inventvely soulful Melbourne-based duo Slum Sociable for their magnetic-groove-galvanized A+ debut track “All Night” from the pair’s debut “TQ” EP. We’re pleased to see the pair follow up their head turning career debut track with the EP’s superbly-stunning second track called “Paradigm” which caught our attentions immediately for its incredible harmonic self-sampled vocals and dramatic piano-chord-laced guitar-led synth-accented jazzy hip-hop elementals. Mansionair – Speak Easy

mansionair

Get familiar with Sydney trio Mansionair (who graced us with one of 2014’s most-streamed indie hits “Hold Me Down”) on their lovely new perfectly-oozy emotionally-deep widespread-appeal radio-ready ballad track “Speak Easy” which we adore for its straightforward sing-song-y falsetto vocals and golden-vibe guitar accents. We love it. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Drench yourself in the soulful melodic-toned slow-melt and sublimely-mellow profoundly-moody synth-driven hip-hop/jazz instrumental sentiments of new beauty track “Charmer” from Italian producer okho and B3 lauded Canadian hip-hop wiz Elaquent. Awesome vibes! Reviewed by Erin Shay.

Cash Wednesday – Say

cashwednesday

We’re intrigued by the chipper-tempered spacey-shimmery synth-loaded effects and fabulous scattery-paced dance-centric disco-boogie vibes of “Say” the catchy new stand-out pop track from Cash Wednesday, a mysterious new artist that is rumored to be B3 favorite versatile-talent man-of-the-moment Skylar Spence (who we last covered here recently for his Prom King EP track “Cash Wednesday”). Either way we totally look forward to hearing more music from Cash Wednesday! Stay tuned. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

AbJo – The Midnight Kid Returns

Photos by Jaryl Cabuco ©

We recently covered SoCal-based producer/beatcrafter/DJ and Soulection artist ABJO for his absolute-scorcher beat-centered R&B-melodic Nami Ramo flip called “Honey”. We’re also into the mismatched-discongruent mosh of moods and beats on “The Midnight Kid Returns” his sensational new synth-spun tune which samples “Human Nature” from one and only MJ. Glass Animals & Joey Bada$$ – Lose Control

glassanimalsjoeybad

English shadowy-r&b-centered psychedelic-pop-leaning muted-atmospheric electronic indie rock four-piece band Glass Animals (who have also previously teamed up with the likes of other odd match hip-hop recording artists Rome Fortune and Chester Watson) joins forces with B3 fave Brooklyn-based hip-hop street-flow-dynamo Joey Bada$$ on the excellent new Yellowman-sampling stunner called “Lose Control” which we highly recommend for its artful brew of colorful dramatically-slow-going electro effects and phenomenally dynamic Joey Bada$$ dominated vocal musings. Great collaboration. Reviewed by Erin Shay.

We’re digging the eclectic French-electro sonic sentiments of Paris producer KAYLOO on his new brilliantly picturesque vintage-vibe jazz-horn-infused whimsical-hip-hop-beats-saturated Darker Than Wax-rep’d instrumental jam which is appropriately called “Radar”. Reviewed by Erin Shay.
