Marissa Nadler – You’ve Got It All Wrong (Demo)

“You’ve Got It All Wrong”, the enchanting new demo from Marissa Nadler should have been accompanied with the warning “prepare not to listen to anything else all day,” as it sucks you in and swiftly erodes your ability to do anything – besides pressing the repeat button. If this is just a demo then her next album can’t come soon enough. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more to come from Marissa Nadler. By Nathan Hetherington

Different Sleep – Be My Center

We’ve seen a slew of young DJs/Producers arise in the online music community as of late. Rafa Alvarez aka Different Sleep seems to be next in line. Born in San Diego, but based now in Chicago, the 19 year old knows how to lay down an excellent chill track. On his track “Be My Center”, a gradual crescendo leads a climactic arrangement of gliding synths, finally winding down to a smooth beat. Different Sleep has also recently caught some buzz for his incredible reworking of California Wives’ track, “Tokyo”. Sample both tracks below. By Brian Litwin

Icona Pop – I Love It (Solidisco Remix)

Icona Pop’s floor filler “I Love It” gets one more turn c/o Solidisco, an artist that’s quickly became a favorite here at b3sci. Solidisco’s mix is nu-disco to the nth for sure, but it isn’t predictable. The early changes and progressions and rhythmic maneuvers in the track are awesome and totally not in the direction we thought the track might go. Very good.

Denitia Odigie & Sene – Trip. Fall.

Denitia Odigie is really really good. The soulstress hooks up here with Sene (the duo released a very good (& aptly titled) “Blah Blah Blah” EP earlier this year) for new track “Trip. Fall.” The feel of the track is magnetic (you’ll be hooked right away) but the star, again, is Ms. Odigie’s buttery, soothing vocal track.

Joey Bada$$ – Enter the Void (Feat. Ab-Soul)

Yeah this is heavy. J.B. let loose today the 70’s heroin soul-glide of “Enter the Void” as part of his “Waves” single package. A+ track.

Neon Hitch – Gucci Gucci (VILLAGE Edit)

We featured Romanian producer VILLAGE and his excellent original mix for “Dive” last month. Here he spins a generous helping of melody and cool breeze into Neon Hitch’s “Gucci Gucci” cover.

Indian Wars – Already Home

Indian Wars are a band out of Vancouver that play roots country-informed rock and roll. The half-time hellraising of “Already Home” reminds of The Gun Club in the best sort of way. Thanks to our friends at R&G for the tip.

Rare Monk – Underground

Welcome to Rare Monk, the funkiest, rarest monks out of Portland, Oregon. The indie rock band just dropped an EP titled Death by Proxy – a personal love note to Chris Dodds’ inbox. It’s a three track preview to their full-length album coming out in February 2013. Enjoy the title track here, a pretty great blend of synthcoded vocals, experimental synths, and a lush indie sound. By Alex Mitchell

*Also, be sure to catch Alex’s interview with Rare Monk over at Cardboard Smile here.

Roosevelt – Soleil

Having opened for the likes of Hot Chip and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and thus recently being signed to the Berlin-London dance collective/record label that houses Hot Chip, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and Disclosure amongst others, one would think that Marius Lauber aka Roosevelt is the next best thing coming out of Germany and the Euro Electro-Pop scene. A release like “Soleil”, only helps back up such a claim. With a sunny disposition and indie dance beat, I can’t help but think about driving on the Pacific Coast Highway and just staring into the Ocean. Roosevelt has some spot dates to end the year in Germany, Belgium, Paris and Luxembourg, but we’ll expect him to be State side for different shows/fests very soon. By Brian Litwin
